This Week:
Well a chicken pooped in my shoe while we were teaching Brother Danny and Sister Evenly and so when i went to go and put my shoes back on i got a surprise!
We were told by our bishop to go to a members house because one of their family members had died and they wanted us to give a prayer. So we went to a place where we knew someone had past away, because here in the Philippines when someone dies they gather all the chairs a tables together and all the relatives play card games and they have a banner of the person who died and then their casket stays inside the house until the funeral service. Anyway we didnt know exactly where this member lived and we just got lucky that the first place with a dead person was the right one. and when we showed up that were expecting us two Sister Missionaries to give a whole funeral service, but after the member called our bishop after we had just called bishop, we decided to just have us give a prayer. So ya i can now say i gave a prayer for a dead person and their family. it was an interesting experience!
Just trying to find the good in the hard, because when people talk about missions being hard they were wrong, because missions arent hard, they are HARDER.
Love you all and i am so grateful for all the love, prayers, support that i have!
Love Sister Thayn
