-This is the 13 year old girl named Jeddah (pronounced Jayda) that we are teaching.
First of all Happy Fathers Day to my Dad and all those other dads out there. I love my dad and am grateful for all that he has taught me, he has definitely helped me to get to where i am today!
Well this week we ran out of dish soap and definitely forgot to buy some on monday, and so what i found out what the other sisters in the house have been using is just laundry detergent. Hey im just happy to have clean dishes to eat off.
Our Mission President has been really inspired that as we talk with people on the streets that we share the First Vision of Joseph Smith with them, and it has been such a cool experience as i have recited the first vision with tricy drivers or random people on the street. talking to random people about the Gospel is really a great way to build your testimony!
Well transfers are this week and Brother Danny and Sister Evelyn have been telling me that they are praying that i dont transfer. They keep telling me that i have become like their daughter and Sister Evelyn is in denial that i could leave this area. I dont know what will happen, i have been in the Alicia area for 4 1/2 months. This week also ends my companions training, and its so crazy that shes the second missionary that i have trained on my mission. Maybe next cycle i might become a normal missionary!?
I love you all and hope you all have a great week! I know this is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and that if we strive to live the Gospel everyday of our lifes that God will bless us unconditionally!
Sister Thayn
-It rained a lot this last week and instead of avoiding the wetness, i have learned to just embrace it!
-So this is Danny and Evelyn's Tindahan (a little store ran out of their house) they sell things little bags of crackers and treats, to soap, noodles, and just random things.
-Buckle up with Jesus, the only problem is that there aren't any seat belts in tricys
