So it has been a week and 2 days and it is so crazy the amount of information that i have in my head! I have grown so much in my knowledge of the gospel and in the language! last week i couldn't say anything in the language and now am teaching lessons completely in tagalog and it so crazy to explain the feeling of everything!
So it has been a week and 2 days and it is so crazy the amount of information that i have in my head! I have grown so much in my knowledge of the gospel and in the language! last week i couldn't say anything in the language and now am teaching lessons completely in tagalog and it so crazy to explain the feeling of everything!
On sunday we had a devotional and what I loved most about it all was the reassuring words from the speaker about how Heavenly Father loves us all and that all he wants us to be is Happy! Put the Lord first and God will give you everything! For the Tuesday devotional President M. Russell Ballard came and spoke to us and it was such a cool experience! The whole devotional was broadcasted to all the MTC's in the world! But what President Ballard spoke about was the companionship power that Joseph and Hyrum Smith had throughout the Resoration of the Gospel! What i got out of it all was that on my mission and throughout my life i need to be BOLD when speaking about the gospel and that nothing should ever hold me back as a missionary from BOLDLY declaring the word of God!
Something funny this week was yesterday with our investegator we were in our lesson and at the end of when He was done reading the scripture we had for him and my companion was talking about it, he was getting really confused and started asking questions and then we all came to the conclusion that we gave him the wrong scripture and it made no sense with what we were teaching about! Haha but we had no idea it was the wrong scripture because we have no idea what he is saying because we cant understand the language very well besides the words we have written down for our lesson! But it was just really funny because then the investagator couldn't stop laughing while he was reading the actual scripture we had for him!
