Time is coming to an end soon here on the mission, and it doesn't feel real! To be honest I thought I would stay in my training for the rest of my life. But look at me i'm going to have to start thinking about the next stage in life! SO WEIRD! Also for those who don't know, I will be coming home on Wednesday December 18, 2019
This week was so good. I got really wet sometimes, ate lots of food, we talked to lots of people and shared lots about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have been visiting a lot more members this week to try and see if we can help them with their missionary work and receive referrals through them, and I just feel so lucky that I have the opportunity that I do to get to know all of these such amazing people here in the Philippines! It is going to be so hard to leave them! So I bore my testimony yesterday in church for fast and testimony meeting and I said how it was my last time to bear my testimony during fast and testimony meeting on my mission, and then afterwards everyone just wanted to come up and talk to me about how im leaving soon! Everyone was so sweet in wishing me good luck on the next part of my life!
Well as of now we still have a rat, and we finally got a rat cage/trap from Elder Allen, one of the senior couples, but it still hasn't caught anything yet.
We may get another typhoon this week, but it probably won't affect our mission, except for a lot of rain! so it's a good thing that my rubber shoes don't quite yet have holes on the bottom of them, and my umbrella is only a couple more good rainstorms away from braking!
Happy Thanksgiving last week! I'm so grateful for my family, the Book of Mormon, a living prophet, the opportunity to serve a full time mission, Filipinos, filipino food, and so much more!
Love you all and have an amazing week!
