So this week...
- After teaching a lesson with a member and a bunch of her kids and nieces and nephews i went to go and put my shoes on and around one of my shoes was a puddle of some sort of liquid and it was inside my shoe too. if i were in Utah i would just think someone spilled some water in them, but being in the Philippines and seeing where little kids choose to go to the bathroom, and hearing stories of other missionaries witnessing little kids peeing in their shoes, i was just praying that a little kid didn't pee in my shoes. But i was too tired to do anything about it and so i just prayed and put my shoes on. Then the church was in our pathway to our next lesson and so we quickly went to the bathroom and i stuck my foot under the facet and rinsed my shoe, and we were on our way to our next lesson!
- Thursday afternoon after our studies the member who's house is right in front of ours and has the bakery business told us that when we come home tonight that he'll have cake waiting for us. And all throughout the day Sister Sy (my trainee) kept telling me that the cake was her motivation for the day, so im glad something motivates her! Haha and then for dinner she said that she on a diet, but what she ate what the cake (and added chocolate spread in the middle of the cake) and had that for dinner. She told me that it wasn't really a meal because she didn't have any rice! Filipinos really do love their rice and they don't call it a meal unless there's rice!
_I'll I need is a Aklat ni Mormon (BOM), and some coke and im a happy Sister Missionary.

_For last P-day we planned our day so that at the end of the night we could eat our dinner on our beds as we watched a movie about Jesus Christ's life! and yes I had cereal for dinner.
_We went back to teach Sister Terrisita and her husband was there this time and of course we had to take a picture with her Christmas tree again!
_ This is Sister Leila Bucu, She is one of the people we've been teaching, she's had i think 3 or 4 baptismal dates since i've been teaching her, but because she still is smoking 1-2 cigarettes a day and has only come to church once in the 13 weeks i've been here. We are working with one of her grandsons who is a return missionary to help her, but I dont know what will happen to her and it makes me sad!
_I thought i would share a picture that makes me feel really white compared to everyone else! haha at night the members will say that i glow in the dark when they see us our walking. Also something random, but funny, all the little girls love to sit next to me and just play with my arm hair cuz its so light and long compared to theirs!
Love you all and im so grateful for all the prayers in my behalf!
