Well just another week in the Philippines, but this week I'm going to be one year older (and hopefully wiser too). Yup I will be 20 YEARS OLD! Haha whenever people ask how old I am and I tell them I'm 19 years old, a lot of them jump and are really surprised because apparently i dont look that young! haha this little boy the other day guessed i was like 30 years old!!!!
Anyway me and Sister Gibson made this list of all the things we've adjusted to and are just normal to us now and so i thought i would share it with you guys! BEWARE we held nothing back!
ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE NOW NORMAL:

- cold shower
- eating all parts of animals
- eating weird parts of animals
- grown men going to the bathroom EVERYWHERE in public
- public breastfeeding
- shirtless men
- short people
- constant sweat
- no flush toilets
- no toilet paper
- bending down through doorways
- naked kids everywhere
- men yelling "i love you"
- people staring at me 24/7
- rice every day
- dirt roads
- public transportation
- hearing Tagalog
- little bugs crawling on me, my food, and my stuff
- hand wash laundry
- people with no teeth
- always having to carry a sweat rag
- ants crawling in my arm hair
- eating with my hands
Well I hope you all enjoyed that, this is my life now and has been for almost 9 months! And yet I love (almost) every minute of it, yes its hard and i've had to experience things and do things i never thought in my life time that i would ever have to do. But you know what im alive, i have a healthy body, a family that loves and supports me through everything, i have the knowledge of the gospel and I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that God has a plan for each and everyone of us and all we have to do is trust Him and take us hand and let him guide us through this crazy thing call life! I have learned since being on a mission how to love people more, i have learned why i need the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, and I guess i have learned (kind of) how to speak Tagalog! Well I love you all and i hope you all appreciate your Air conditioning more, not sweating in weird place, and being able to understand the language people are speaking to you! Also if you all really wanted to know, i tried to be a Filipino and not use toilet paper one time, but lets just say i got really wet.
Sister Camille is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! She is just so happy and me and Sister Gibson are so happy that we were able to be the missionaries to teach her! Also for her baptism we had to use a water hose coming from outside, a water jug, and a bucket to fill up the baptismal fount because the water was so slow filling it and it wasn't going to fill in time! But don't worry we got it filled and she got baptized!
Love you all!
