Week 3: Missionary Life

Oh man being a missionary is the greatest! This week I feel like I have gotten used to things and its just my life now for the next 18 months! 

One of the hardest things for me being a missionary I would have to say is: waking up at 6:30 in the morning, being with 2 other people everyday all day, and not being able to take naps! Oh and the language is rough because we teach lessons to people about every other day and they have to be completely in Tagalog!

But my favoritest things about being a missionary i would have to say is that we pray at the beginning of everything, like exercise, class, every study session you do throughout the day and at meals and just whenever you need to talk to Heavenly Father to thank Him for a blessing, or ask Him for help when its hard! I love the time that i have for personal study because i just get to know more about Christ and his gospel! 

Me and sister Palmer practiced Nearer My God to Thee with her playing the Piano and me on the Violin and i think were going to play together next sunday in Sacrament meeting!

I'm learning the language and am able to ask questions and some sentences with just the words i've memorized and i feels so good! Every week i gain a stronger testimony of the gift of tongues and know that soon enough i will be able to communicate with those sweet people in the Philippines!
