So we have a RAT in our house, and the sticky pad trap things we left out for it the past couple of days still hadn't caught it. But then this morning we woke up and the traps were everywhere and the rat ate some of the cheese we put on it, and left droppings and hair on it. So wish us good luck in trying to catch it, we are going to see if the mission office will get us a rat trap/cage!

I had the opportunity to give a talk in sacrament meeting yesterday and it is so cool to see the change in my ability to be able to just give a talk in sacrament meeting without having my whole talk written word for word. All I had were the scriptures i was using and my then my scriptures, and I just love that I can spend 10-15 and just talk about The Gospel of Jesus Christ. And then afterwards members were telling me that I sound like im a Filipino with my accent and the way I speak tagalog. Haha Im leaving in about a month and im just glad that I can speak the language and communicate with the people here.
We were able extended a Baptismal date to Sister Margilyn the other day, she is 20 years old and is living at the house of a member as she goes to school. She is so excited to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized!
You learn a lot about yourself on a mission and im so grateful for this time I have been able to work on my relationship with my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. While we are outside we are trying to find those people that God is preparing for us to find and teach, some days we encounter people who wont answer their doors, others who when they come to the door that they spit at us, and then there's some people who when we start to talk with them on the streets they will tell us immediately to come inside their house so we are either out of the rain or sun and then we are able to teach them about the Gospel. Every experience that I have had on my mission has helped me in the end to come closer to my Savior.
Love you all and have a great week :)

*Sister Ester: she left to go on a mission this last august and then soon after returned from the mtc because she was told after medical tests that she had cancer. She has gone through lots of treatment and has the medicine she needs because she was a missionary at the time and the church has been able to help her get the medical attention she needs. She lost all her hair, and yesterday at church was the first time we got to see her in her wig. She is so beautiful and has such a strong testimony. God really is mindful of all of us in our trials
