Week 35: 8 MONTHS

March 11, 2019

This week was really good except for the part that its getting into the hot season and every time we are about to leave the apartment i have to give myself a pep-talk to tell myself that i'm not going to melt to death once i leave our apartment where i can just be constantly in front of a electric fan! But ya know what, im doing it and i just look forward to those freezing cold bucket showers at the end of the day! 

Lots of cool things happened with the people we're teaching:

Princess (25 yrs old) and Bryan (26) are a couple and and were teaching them as a couple, they always have so many questions (which gets interesting, because we only know so much Tagalog) anyway but they already read the BOM together and Princess has gone to church 2 times and Bryan came for the first time yesterday. They attended a baptism that the Elders had on Saturday and they always ask when the next time we will teach them! 

Camille is still progressing towards baptism and is doing great! 

Lots of funny things happened and wish i could type it all, but just ask my family cuz it is great to be able to talk to them each week!

-found this little guy in the spiral of my language book! haha its was pretty funny when i tried to get the little guy out of it!

-Buko (coconut) Halo-Halo, So yummy, it was in the inside of a coconut and it was like a slush type of stuff with corn, lyche and lots of other things that im not used to, but it was so yummy!

-Yes this is not framed picture, as Sister Gibson was finishing getting ready she came out to me like this eating a Popsicle type thing trying to convince myself to leave the apartment.

-We went on splits with our super cute STLs this week and learned lots, I went with Sister Ela who was Sister Gibson's trainer.
