Thank you all for the Birthday wishes, it was a great day that I got to spend with some amazing people here in the Philippines!Well Sister Gibson got transferred and now I am training AGAIN! Her name is Sister Pututau, shes Tongan, but was born and raised in West Valley, Utah. Its going to be a great time with her, shes really great and i cant wait to show her everything that i love about the Philippines and the people here!
Quick story:
Sister Sy (my last companion and trainee) is trainning too and i got to see her this week and she told me that Brother Jerick from my last area was just baptized this last weekend! He was the tricy driver that we met while i was on crutches and had to take tricys everywhere. So finding out that he was baptized helped me to realize that God had a plan in me having that wart removed from my foot and causing me to be on crutches for 2 weeks! So even when life gets hard, don't give up on God, His plan is ALWAYS better than ours! 1 Nephi 7:12
I also got to eat blood on a stick, pig intestines, chicken feet (for the 4th time i think), chicken head and balut (the undeveloped duck embryo)! Sister Camille bought it all the night before transfers and so me and Sister Gibson tried it all, and im going to be honest that there was a lot of gagging, but it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be!
I love you all and hope this next week is the best week ever!
