Week 64: THE PhilLippines

September 30, 2019

Here's my week in pictures:
*Us with some members waiting at the church for a van to pick us up to take us to the stake activity.

*We gave Sister Grace a Book of Mormon this week. She is doing awesome, so is starting to gain her testimony of the gospel and she told us that she finally did what we asked her to do, which was to pray to ask God to know if what we are teaching her are true. She told us that after praying that she knows these things are true. That Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration, that Russell M. Nelson is our living prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true!

*Because I have my Philippines Drivers License, and we happen to be teaching someone who works at a driving school in the mall. (also funny thing, she works at a driving school, but doesn't have a licence or know how to even drive a car, haha)

*Our Stake, the Tuguegarao South Stake, had family week this week and so on Saturday we went to a resort and each ward was to preform a dance/skit, and then we had lunch and then all the kids got to go swimming!

*We got our Preach my Gospel books bound the other day and every other missionary in the past that has done book binding here say that they always make some mistake. and when we got them back we thought we got lucky and that they didn't make any mistakes, but then we looked closer and out of all of the words they spelled wrong, they spelled the 'Phillippines' wrong (it should only have 1 'L' not 2). Hahaha we just thought that was really funny, because we are literally in the Philippines!

Well I love you all and hope you have a great week!
Love, Sister Thayn
