Week 66: 2019 GENERAL CONFERENCE

October 14, 2019
General Conference was amazing, I learned lots and cannot wait until April 2020!
I loved President Oaks talk in the women's session when he was talking about the Plan of Salvation and he said to just *Know that we have a loving Father in Heaven & *Trust in God. We dont need to know why everything happens now, but just know that God's plan for us is perfect. I also loved Elder Utchdorf's talk. These were some of my favorite things he said:
"your CHOICES show who you are more than your ABILITIES"
"Keep Striving"
"We need to be Compassionate and Courageous Disciples of Christ"
"Strive each day to FIND HIM & keep His commandments"
"Set food upon your own Grand Adventure"
After general conference we went and visited Sister Santo's because we noticed she wasn't able to make it to church to watch it. So we went to visit her and we noticed she has a smart TV (she is one of very few members that i have met on my mission that have a smart tv). So we looked up conference on it and we pulled up conference right there in her living room for her to watch. She was so happy and we were so grateful for the technology that we have these days! Sister Santos is so cute and at the end when we shared what we liked from listening to Elder Utchdorfs talk she said "I like it, praise the Lord"!

The Hipolito Boys; Jam, Lester (the neighbor boy), Dyron, ME, JM (in order in the picture). These boys are so funny and because they are recent converts we are reteaching them what the missionaries taught them before they were baptized again. And every time we teach them they are so loud and crazy (just like 15 yr old boys are), anyway so about 10 minutes into us being there i always have to tell the boys to scoot over and make room for me on this couch, so i can sit in between them to keep them under controlled and behaved during our lessons. They always make my day better when im there. This week i also had JM look at the picture of Jesus in the front of the BOM and tell Him that he will read the BOM this week, because he is having a hard time 'finding the time' to read the BOM.

The Pagarigan Family feeds us every wednesday night and this night we were on splits and afterwards we all squished into their car as they took us home. The members here are the BEST!

SM has a count down till Christmas, this was Saturday night. The random guy on the street that took our picture said that if we want we can come and find his house and teach him and his family! today is 72 days till Christmas!

I love you all and I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! have a great week and FIND HIM :)
